Privacy Policy

QuranDaily (“the App”) is developed by ImagineBowl. We built the App to help you read and listen to the Quran without creating an account. This policy explains what information the App uses, where it is stored, and your choices.

Summary: QuranDaily does not require sign-in, does not run advertising analytics, and does not sell your data. Most information stays on your device. Network requests are used only to fetch Quran text and audio from public content providers.

Information we do not collect

No account, email, phone number, or profile
No precise location
No contacts, photos, or microphone access
No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs

Information stored on your device

To provide core features, the App saves data locally on your iPhone or iPad. This data is not transmitted to ImagineBowl servers and is removed when you delete the App (or when you clear cache in Settings).

Bookmarks — surah and ayah references you save
Reading position — where you last read so “Continue Reading” can work
Recent listens — surahs you recently played from the Listen tab
App settings — font size, theme, and font preferences
Downloaded content — cached Quran text and optional audio files for offline use

Network requests

When you use the App, it may connect to the internet to:

Download Uthmani Quran text and metadata from AlQuran Cloud (api.alquran.cloud)
Download Indo-Pak Quran text from islamic.app (api.islamic.app)
Stream or download recitation audio from islamic.network (cdn.islamic.network)

These services receive standard request information (such as your IP address and the content requested). Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies. ImagineBowl does not receive or store that network traffic on our servers.

Optional tips (In-App Purchases)

You may optionally leave a tip to support development. Tips are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. ImagineBowl does not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide us with aggregated purchase information required for tax and accounting.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share on-device app data with third parties except as needed to operate the App (public Quran/audio providers, as described above) or if required by law.

Children’s privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your choices

Clear Quran, audio, or all cached data in Settings → Storage
Delete the App to remove all locally stored data
Decline optional tips — all features remain free

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
